15 officials invited to Cabinet to discuss 2024 Budget preparation

The Cabinet invited fifteen officials to its meeting to address the issue of revenue, deficit spending and debt management, in preparation for the 2024 Budget. Eight officials were from the Ministry of Finance, three from the Inland Revenue Department, one from the Medical Benefits Scheme, three from the Antigua and Barbuda Department of Maritime Services (ADOMS), and the Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Governance. The primary object of the discussion was to consider options for the 2024 Budget, taking into account that tax revenue to GDP ratio stands at fifteen percent and the target of the budget officials is to raise revenue to twenty percent of GDP. The discussion revolved around items that can be zero-rated, and those imported items where the waiver of taxes is not warranted.

  1. Fix the nasty water issue on Lauchland Henry drive that is settling infront of Canada Place. You all have no pride as a government all because of friend and company.

  2. Fifteen officials? What do you hope to gain by inviting 15 puppets to Cabinet? The Puppeteer, the Top Dawg does not tolerate opposing independent views. MAYBE HE IS LOOKING FOR A SCAPEGOAT

  3. Just another waste of time. Nothing of course will ever come of this. Whoever you 15 are, watch out, the DAWG is on the loose and will throw you under the bus when this fails as does everything he touches.

  4. Where did Porkston Browne come into all her money?

Since she took over ABLP, our nation has been at the worst it ever has. Maybe the voters are really happy with the way things are. If so, keep on voting in Porkston Browne.

She lives a luxurious life as well as her family and her ass kissers.

    Keep on voting her in.
