(Dashboard Update for October 13, 2021)
The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) revealed thirteen (13) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday 12th October 2021 at 6pm.
One hundred and twenty-one (121) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and fifty-five (55) at CARPHA.
One hundred and seventeen (117) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to two thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven (2,937).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand eight hundred and thirty (3,830); which is inclusive of eight hundred (800) active cases. There are thirty-one (31) hospitalized cases; seventeen (17) mild, eight (8) moderate and six (6) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty five thousand and eighty-eight (45,088) individuals while nine thousand six hundred and seventy (9,670) have only received their first dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
