12 new cases of COVID-19 in Antigua

(Dashboard Update for April 12, 2022)

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment revealed twelve (12) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Sunday 10th April, 2022 at 6pm.

 

Six (6) cases were recorded on April 7th, three (3) on April 8th and three (3) on April 10th.

 

One hundred and sixty-nine (169) samples were processed.

 

Nine (9) recovered cases were recorded.

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is seven thousand five hundred and twenty-three (7,523); which is inclusive of twenty-three (23) active cases.

 

There is one (1) hospitalized case in mild condition.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  3. This thing is not going anywhere. China on lockdown, the USA health officials are saying they are expecting a 4 wave and asking for billionaires more in funding from the government. Antigua will have another wave – hospitalization and death after carnival plus political campaigning. Dr. Simon I can remember you telling us on national TV that you are a musician and we know that you enjoy playing during carnival. However, life is more important so you did not endorse the fetes. Will sir it’s just about time for you to put on your radar and start the conversation again Please do not wait until it’s too late. Better as the leading professional you can say I told you so. Or we can say we followed or experts advise and see what is going on around us . Michael Browne we know that you are itching to get back in the limelight as most politicians and make your mark on your new ministry. Lives are more important. Just think of the time when everything came to a stop because you felt that your heart was about to 🛑. Did you think about a doctorate , or politics . Well this is as urgent and important. This is how great leaders are born by not being short sighted. You aiming to be tomorrow’s leader, well today’s decision will determine that.

    • According to the experts the vaxxed remains protected from severe disease and death. Now, the majority of positive and hospitalized covid cases are the double and triple vaxxed, so why worry?

    Modern recalls 764,000 of their vaccines due to contamination with STAINLESS STEEL particles. Also, 1.6m doses have been recalled in Japan in 6 months.

    … and in the meantime our government do not inform us of these SERIOUS developments. WHY?

  6. If we have to live with covid, then testing positive is part of the new normal.
