12 new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for October 24, 2021)

 

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed twelve (12) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday 23rd October 2021 at 6pm.

 

 

Eighty-three (83) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and seventy-one (71) at CARPHA.

 

 

Seventy-five  (75) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to three thousand five hundred and forty-one (3,541).

 

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is four thousand and thirty-one (4,031); which is inclusive of three hundred and ninety-one (391) active cases.

 

 

There are twenty-two (22) hospitalized cases; fourteen (14) mild, four (4) moderate and four (4) severe.

 

 

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty eight thousand seven hundred and ninety-seven(48,797) individuals while six thousand nine hundred and six (6,906) have only received their first dose.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
