10 Pounds of Cannabis seized at Airport
Ten pounds of cannabis, with a street value of $60,000 were seized during a joint drug operation between Customs and Police at V.C Bird International Airport on Friday.
Nine vacuum-sealed packages of the controlled substance was found inside a cardboard box during the search of storage room. The substance was taken to the police station, while further investgation is ongoing.

Ask this question all the time. Why not do a control delivery to see where and who? The previous comment may be onto something there cause you never hear of any further from these stories. Can Antigua police even catch water when it’s raining and they outside?
In my opinion,they should have put a tracker on it.Let intended recipient pick it up and then go and arrest that person.By removing it and making it public.What is gained from doing that?Are they looking for publicity?
It doesn’t take a genius to know what do, more drug bust and the most drugs on the streets. Corruption comes in all shapes and form. We don’t want to catch the perpetrators we want to sieze the drugs for examination.
