A young man was shot and killed in Perry Bay during the early hours of Tuesday morning, prompting a police investigation.
The victim, believed to be in his twenties, was reportedly shot shortly before dawn after residents heard gunfire in the area. Officers responded to the scene and found the man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear. Police say investigations are ongoing and additional details will be provided as they become available.

I somewhat disappointed with Commissioner Jeffers, MP Richard Lewis & Senator Michael Joseph. They are all from that community, and they do know what the area is like with vagrants and drug addicts on the street.
They need to collaborate together to combat the criminal activities in the area knowing that charity begins at home.
If the top is slack, then the bottom will be worst. More cameras, more streetlights and regular police patrol needs to be put in place.
