FURTHER UPDATE: — Police have identified the man killed in Sunday’s shooting in Potters Village as 29-year-old Leyandrew Hubbard, also known as “Leo” or “Chiney Man.”
As Hubbard’s family begins the painful task of coming to terms with his death, another family is anxiously awaiting news of an 18-year-old man who remains in critical condition at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
The teenager, who was with Hubbard when the shooting occurred, sustained serious gunshot injuries and continues to receive treatment.
The shooting unfolded Sunday morning opposite Potters Primary School, where what began as an ordinary day quickly descended into chaos. Residents said they heard multiple gunshots before rushing from their homes, only to find the victims.
Police have secured the scene and continue to investigate the fatal shooting. Investigators have not disclosed a motive, and no suspects have been identified or arrested.
Authorities are appealing to anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department or the nearest police station. Officers say even the smallest piece of information could prove significant.

A police cannot be everywhere, but this Administration does not have any proper Crime fighting policy in place, even in countries where there are proper policies they cannot prevent every crime. We are not taking crimes serious enough. We need to start rebuilding from the small primary school children. Next we need to take a serious look at the marijuana decriminalization – something is absolutely wrong how this is handled.
