Four Women Must Each Compensate Victim 600 Dollars For Wounding

The four women charged with wounding the then 20-year-old Denatalee Nicholson were each sentenced to pay compensation of $600 today.

They must pay the compensation by May 29th, 2020 or will spend six months in prison.

Shimmea Welsh, Dalianne Richardson, Shanique Dwyer, and Larsheka Gray all apologized to the Nicholson in open court for wounding her during an attack at a pool party in September 2018.

A broken rum bottle was used to inflict a number of injuries to the complainant’s head and other parts of her body.

Nicholson said she now suffers from headaches as a result of the injuries.

The quartet pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding before High Court Judge Justice Ann-Marie Smith last week.

The defendants were also placed on two years’ probation and faces one year imprisonment if they are found in default of the order.

    This system will force people to seek their own justice.

  6. Now this is the true definition of miscarriage of justice. These four almost killed that girl and they only pay $600.00 only in Antigua them s*** happen. God nah sleep though and karma is a real b****

A young lady was 8months pregnant when she was attacked my her babyfather first baby mother in her home causing her to almost losing her unborn … case closed the young lady was ordered to pay $1000 compensation. and the young woman whom was pregnant is told after receiving compensation she cannot reappeal if after she’s to have any other medical issues which the young lady now suffer from severe headaches and back pains… So it’s not a shocker for such Justice

  9. Young men are being convicted and fined to pay more than $600 for 23 grams of marijuana (the bush God created), or spend time in prison. These young ladies could have taken this girl life. Their judgement should be harsh.

    • I full agree with you Diesel, I hope her lawyer advice her to do so, especially in light of the fact that her injuries are lifetime scars and that they were bragging that they have money.
      As a parent is would have grieved my heart to at this outcome and would have wanted an eye for an eye, but to give justice another try, I would so for no less than $50,000.

      I pray that this young lady will be able to go forward and be at peace and feel safe.
      This really sent a bad message to the Haves and the Haves-nots. I hope no one will meet anyone of them and break a bottle and cut them
