Woman robbed at knifepoint in Hatton

Police are investigating after a woman was robbed at knifepoint in Hatton early Monday morning.

The victim said two men confronted her on Union Road at about 03:00, demanding her handbag. One was armed with a silver knife.

The assailants fled with $340 in cash and a Samsung mobile phone. Officers searched the area but no arrests were made.

Enquiries continue.

    Why should criminals dictate whether females go out and about to work or not?

    I’m sure she has mouths to feed and bills to pay. Furthermore, you have no idea why she had to go out at that time of day.

    I don’t go around picking on people or gaslighting them, but we all know that @Faithful #1 is a special type of idiot, right out of the bread basket of Gatson Browne and his cult followers.

    That’s what he and the Gatson Browne administration want in Antigua, Anarchy, when criminals dictate the laws of the land and decide who goes where and when, by their intimidation and criminal activity.

    This is what Antigua has become..by the time they start doing something, it would be too late..we would start having reprisal killings on a high level like what’s happening in Jamaica and other Latin American countries.

    Citizens will start taking actions in their own hands, and then it would be hell to pay in Antigua.

    So under this administration and their policies on crime, things are going to get worse and worse.

I regret not making a report when someone went into my vehicle cause I got a glimpse of him and I see him now and then
