Antigua and Barbuda Police are investigating after a woman was held at gunpoint and robbed of $10 in Green Bay early Friday.
The 5 a.m. incident on George Street occurred as the victim walked home from a nearby club.
She said a man wearing a brown mask, dark long-sleeved shirt, blue cargo pants, and black boots confronted her with a small black firearm.

The robber took the money but fled when a passing pedestrian startled him, allowing the woman to escape.
Police searched the area and interviewed several people, but the suspect has not been found.
Investigations are ongoing.

Instead of Amenesty that have obviously failed, why not offer to buy back these illegal guns that these thieves are carrying all over Antigua?
If someone is bold enough or that desperate to rob a lady of her little $10 (not that the robber knew that’s all she had) they will certainly sell their gun back to the government for a quick $500 or so to get some food.
