A 36-year-old woman reportedly died suddenly at a doctor’s office in St. John’s this week.
According to reports, the doctor called the Emergency Medical Services after the Jamaican woman told him she was not feeling well.
The patient, who was visiting the doctor’s office for the first time, reportedly became unresponsive and died before the ambulance arrived.
The woman was pronounced dead around 1:30pm.
Police are investigating the matter.
