Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel has fined Gray’s Farm resident Taji Bright $25,000 or sentenced her to a year in prison after she was caught with cannabis and cocaine at V.C. Bird International Airport on May 30.
Bright admitted to possession and supply of the drugs but denied trafficking and intent to transfer.
Authorities searched Bright at the airport revealing 1.4 pounds of cannabis hidden under her breast and 42.5 grams of cocaine concealed inside her vagina.

Bright confessed and said she was trying to make money.
Magistrate Emanuel fined her $15,000 for the supply of cocaine and $10,000 for the supply of cannabis, with a two-year deadline to pay or face imprisonment.

I really think that she was lucky to just get away with what I consider to be a moderate fine.
