Winston Williams, ABLP political hopeful for the St. Mary’s North Constituency, alongside the “Better Together” Team and the Hope Tree Foundation, continues to provide tangible support towards education and community development.
On Sunday, February 2, the “Better Together” Team returned to the One Love Community to deliver on a commitment made to the leaders and children of that community.
The “Better Together” team in partnership with Hope Tree Foundation, provided essential school supplies to the children.
Community leader Kenny was on hand with a number of the children to accept the donation, which included 144 exercise books, pencils, pens, erasers, pencil sharpeners, pencil cases, and rulers.
This contribution is part of ongoing efforts to ensure that all students have the tools they need to succeed academically.
Our team also visited a valued member of our constituency to confirm his absolute delight with his new Mobility Support chair, made possible by the amazing Rotary Club Antigua.
We also took the opportunity to distribute a number of food hampers within the community.
The share gestures of appreciation reminds me always of why we serve and keeps us all grounded to continue.
Last week, Williams delivered snacks to Jennings Primary School in support of the school’s inter-house sports activities.
The donation included hamburger meat patties, hotdog sausages, and an assortment of buns, with the latter generously provided by the Bendals Community Bakery.
Accompanied by members of the “Better Together” Team, Ms. Shana April and former student Mr. Sheron Alexander of Jennings village (Youth Advisor), Mr. Williams reiterated his further commitment to aid in the school’s programmes and activities.
These include the reintroduction of the school agricultural farm project, supporting of the children’s reading programme, and supporting of visual aid learning initiatives.
Williams made the donation in partnership with the Hope Tree Foundation. This initiative is aimed at providing real support to learning institutions within the constituency of St. Mary’s North.
The Jennings, Bendals Primary and the Jennings Secondary Schools is an important part of the overall focus.
These contributions follow similar gestures of support under the “Strive for Excellence” initiative.
This comprehensive two-year educational initiative was launched at Bendals Primary School with three major programmes aimed at supporting the hardworking teachers, enhancing student development, agricultural entrepreneurship, and community engagement.

Open Letter to Winston Williams: Accountability and Public Trust
Dear Mr. Williams,
As you consider your future in politics, it is important to acknowledge that public trust in leadership is built on accountability and transparency. For many, your potential return to public office raises serious concerns regarding past scandals, including:
The Fencing Scandal – Allegations of financial mismanagement and misallocation of government resources.
The John Ashe Scandal – Connections to international corruption concerns that brought scrutiny to government dealings.
The Housing Scandal – Questions surrounding fairness, accountability, and financial oversight in housing projects.
The people of Antigua and Barbuda deserve clear explanations and assurances that government resources will be handled with integrity. Without addressing these concerns openly and honestly, regaining public confidence will be difficult.
Leadership requires trust, and trust is earned through accountability. Will you take the opportunity to clarify these matters and rebuild confidence in your ability to serve?
The public is waiting for answers.
I lived in Nut Grove when this guy was with the UPP and his campaign office was atop Gervy’s Bar, he does not give two sh*t about people, I saw how he pretended to be nice to people face to face and completely different when they are not around, as far as I am concerned he should not even be considered. He is a total fraud
@Antigua is Home!
Your failure to provide any evidence (as usual) that Mr. Williams is culpable for any of the countless UPP scandals speaks for itself.
John Ashe? You have got to be playing with us. Give Baldwin Spencer a call on that one.
Did Mr. Williams as Sports Minister do any of the contracting after proposing improved fencing to the relevant ministries? No. You know this. That’s why your spam posts are deliberately vague and without any facts.
Thankfully such mismanagement would not (and could not) happen if a similar venture was sent to Finance under the ABLP administration.
Fiscal safeguards have ensured the ABLP avoided the wastage and squandermania of the UPP years: 100 million on a broken power plant, overspent $70+ million on an airport runway, spent 1.2 billion on roads we still can’t find, over-borrowed and abused overdrafts from ABI to collapse the bank etc etc etc…
Just imagine how corrupt a UPP government would be under the dunce Gisele-controlled Jamale Pringle and the cabal of bloodsucking opportunists which have captured that failing party. That is the stuff of nightmares!
