Wickham Warns Serpent Watts Exit Could Destabilize UPP

1. Serpent might be charismatic, but he dunce like fart. Serpent as an MP has not made a single contribution of note in parliament for 3 years. Even his budget debate contribution last month was a mere regurgitation of the same boring points (Agriculture budget allocation is just to pay staff blah blah blah) he speaks about on radio for last 10 years. Nothing innovative, nothing new.
   Plus Serpent was the only MP who didn’t even speak of what he did in his constituency St. George’s for the last year.
   As a UPP insider, Serpent made the UPP more toxic and dumber. The party only kept Serpent around to have unlimited access to Observer radio and control their newsroom narrative.
   Good riddance to bad rubbish and poor representation. A better candidate will be placed there to represent St. George’s.

   However for political acceptance and hopes of reviving the dying ALP you are making unfounded statements.
   Are you seeking to be professional at all times or seeking to remain favorable in the eyes of the ALP and on their payroll?
   Watts is nkt being replaced under acrimonious circumstances.
   He has voluntarily and with reasons decided to step aside.
   Do you want him to do like Robin Yearwood?
   Would you prefer he neglects his health and die in office like Gerald Watts?
   Why don’t you go and comment on the gay lifestyle that is prevalent in Bull-bados and leave Antigua’s political life alone.

   You are repeating what LaboRATs fed you and without proof checking it claiming it as political gospel and as the foundation of your analysis.

6. Who the hell is Wickham?

   This Gaston Browne stoge has again taken political advantage with his one-sided polls in Antigua for as long as I can remember; and up till now, you still cannot locate his poll findings online.

   Furthermore, this bajan pollster isn’t even taken seriously in his own country, yet he finds he-self in Antigua ah big-up anything ABLP and Gaston Browne do.

   And now Wickham is now back vocalising here on the so-called imminent demise of UPP and their members.

   What an absolute loser – can’t he find anything to report on, or carry out some sort of poll in his country of birth Barbados?

   You would do well to remember Wickham, as your fellow Bajans would say:

8. I have been a committed PLM/UPP supporter for more than four decades and am a constituent of St George’s. I will never vote ALP under any circumstances. However, if Serpent were to be endorsed again as the candidate for St George’s, I would withhold my vote entirely. That is the depth of my objection.
   I find Serpent wholly unfit for public office. His supposed charisma does nothing to mitigate what I regard as an offensive and immature “rude-boy” political persona, one that falls well short of the standards expected of an elected representative.
   I wrote to Serpent not as a supplicant and not to seek legal advice, but to raise a matter clearly in the public interest. His response—that I should obtain legal advice—was dismissive, evasive, and contemptuous of his responsibilities. It demonstrated a complete unwillingness to engage with constituents or to discharge the duties of his office in good faith.
   This interaction has left me with no confidence whatsoever in Serpent’s judgment, temperament, or suitability to represent the people of St George’s.
