Water disruptions continue in Bishopgate Street during mainline works

1

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has advised residents in the Bishopgate Street area of continued water supply disruptions due to ongoing mainline replacement works.

APUA said a water delivery truck will be deployed on Saturday, 24 January, between 08:30 and 14:00 to assist affected customers.

Residents are being encouraged to store enough water to meet household needs for at least three days, as work continues to improve the reliability of the network.

APUA apologised for the inconvenience and said it would continue to monitor the project and redeploy truck services where necessary.

  1. Give us a break with these updates. They are useless. Crosbies hasn’t had water for over a week and when it does come on the pressure is so low it doesn’t flow more than a trickle. For over 40 years APUA has been unable to provide a satisfactory service providing water and electricity. Why are we so unable to do any job properly?
