If these young people were truly affiliated to gangs, why has the authority not gone after the adults who have indoctrinated those young people?

Reading all these comments preceding mine makes it clear the reason we have a problem with young men in Antigua. The cynicism, the apathy, the irresponsible responses, from religious to disrespectful with no empathy for the underlying issue.

Blaming lack of water to what constitutes a gang shows that many people are selfish and myopic in their thinking. Even hiding behind these aliases says a lot about who you really are.

Who knows, some of you might even be responsible for harboring gang members in your homes. I see that many of you are not willing or do not possess the capacity to offer revolutionary measures or resolutions to supporting the youth in Antigua and Barbuda. Poor examples as adults.

We should be thankful that we have a leader who is willing to take the initiative to fight for our youth.

Why did it take for the gruesome killing of the fifteen year old young lady for our elected leaders to try and do something. Was her untimely demise proven to be gang related. If so by which of the proclaimed gang was responsible for this heinous act. When for months the nation has been held hostage by the uptick in robberies, rapes, assaults, drive by shootings. Now we see the pictures of the gang members and the communities from which they come. We know the families. We know where they live.
