Virgin Atlantic returns to Antigua on Monday

Virgin Atlantic is resuming flights from Heathrow to Antigua and Grenada from Monday.

Two weekly 787-9 flights are planned to both destinations, which remain on the UK government’s travel corridor.

Virgin said it also plans to launch services from Heathrow to Boston on November 21.

In addition, Lahore, Islamabad and Cape Town services will start in December more more routes added in 2021 ‘in line with customer demand’.

  2. 16,000 new cases in England every day now !! That came after they all went about their lives going beach and to protest mask wearing. Better if you just give up and tek yuh Covid and done see, people in this world nah hab no fking sense

  3. People just wear your masks and use your sanitary wipes. Avoid large crowds as much as possible.What ever you can do to stay healthy and safe.Just do it.The Country needs finances. Tourism is one of the top means of accumulating much needed finances into the Treasury of Antigua and Barbuda.Here is a question.Why do you think Tourists should come into Antigua and wear masks on a Hotel Property?

    • Bugsy: TO SAFEGUARD ANTIGUAN HOTEL WORKERS & THEIR FAMILIES.
      There is no pay high enough for anyone in this country to be compelled to serve tourists without both worker and guest wearing masks & social distancing.
      I would hope the Labour Commissioner & Unions & AHTA agree with this statement.

  5. Nobody wants Antigua to fail, we are a nation that thrives on Tourism. Whatever you do in life safety must come first, if mask are to be worn by locals you cant have the mentality tourist dont have to wear mask because we prefer tourist money over the citizens lives. Let us all be logical, use our brains and not just our mouth.

  6. I am coming to Antigua on a virgin flight, I am half Antiguan. But weather I’m in England or Antigua imma use common sense I will wear a mask and keep sanitise and keep space. Also I have to test covid free. I hope I don’t meet with angst
