A Villa resident, Shajah Joyce, has admitted to two counts of wounding in connection with an alleged house break-in.

Reportedly seeking to confront his wife, Joyce forcibly entered a residence on July 14, 2022, where she was temporarily staying.

After entering, he confronted his spouse, covering her mouth and instructing her to remain silent.

Her cries for help alerted two other occupants in the house, leading to a confrontation and injuries.

Joyce pleaded guilty to the two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm but maintained his innocence regarding unlawful wounding and breaking and entering charges.

The case is scheduled for December 8.

  1. Did she tie him? Cause I don’t want to believe that he was that mentally disturbed to break in, then attack the ppl in the house. Then say that you are innocent for breaking and entering.
