I find that to be strategically stupid to say. Always express your readiness to help, whether you want or need my help or not, I am giving help. It is the right moral, political, and social thing to do. I couldn’t get pass the “they didn’t need help”. They need help, it is why they are doing what they are doing. They are crying for help.
