The Met Office said that over 8 inches of rain were measured in 24 hours at the airport and if that is accurate, then flooding is inevitable in most places around the world let alone little Antigua. Flooding in Guadeloupe seems to be far worse than what I have seen so far here. I hope those who live in notorious flood-prone areas such as Creekside, Golden Grove, Bathlodge are doing ok.

    A shout-out to the wannabe Jim Cantore wading through the water for dramatic effect…🤣

  8. Just about everywhere in the Caribbean has flooding when there are heavy rains, so because Whenner is a politician he should not comment on it, if UPP was in office the KaboRATS would be having a field day, it is called politics. Why don’t you idiots just cool down

  9. Werner Paynters Court was a housing project done under the UPP. And he now highlights the poor work that his then government did, that is now coming so clearly to light. Werner you should go to the new housing project of Paynters and see that their is no flooding there and that all the roads are concrete. And the landscaping is beautifull.

    He’s highlighting the lack of foresight from this “reactionary” ABLP, and wutless government.

    Wasn’t drainage across the island meant to be addressed after our last deluge that prompted the current road building programme?

    Silence from their blind followers once more.

    And look at how the usual suspects in the ABLP camp enjoy haranguing messengers like George Wehner and the forthright Nikki phoenix who’ll bring the real issues troubling the country, but they still dare not criticise the previous wasteful terms of Gaston Browne’s inaction and inactivity. So predictable!

    I’m expecting the ever delusional Dr Dave Ray (who still resides abroad) to join the choruses anytime soon.

    These antiquated and unbalanced supporters are the real reason the Prime Minister can do whatever he pleases at will.
