Is that supposed make us say YES dandy massa
Prime Minister Gaston Browne has just admitted he is aware of the ways in which all (most) of the hotels rob Antigua and Barbuda.
This is a gross dereliction of duty by the Prime Minister who is the Minister of Finance.
Unfortunately there is no media across the Caribbean to report such blatant admission of failure in his responsibility.
This admittedly is being made to justify investing Social Security money into Jolly Harbour Resort.
Another example of the sad state of affairs in Antigua and Barbuda
So why is the Prime Minister knowingly allow these hotel to rob Antigua and Barbuda.
What is he really saying? Is he admitting being in bed with the hotel robbers.
So tourism is our main industry. Is he saying unless the hotel developers and or operators can get the concessions they will not invest in Antigua and Barbuda.
Has Antigua ever refused to grant concessions and what has been the result?
Basic questions about our foreign direct investment policy and experiences.
Everytime this guy opens his mouth, there is nothing but pure bullshit coming forth.
Jolly Beach to pay and rightfully so, but all the others who you say robbing the country blind you not seeking the outstanding monies.
ARE THESE PEOPLE THE APPLE CART THAT YOU YOURSELF SAID YOU CANNOT UPSET?
I await your answer Mr. Prime Minister.
@ Halstead Ghost
Same thing is just said, local businesses pay their taxes but the Prime Minister is admitting most of these businesses do not pay theirs isn’t this a dereliction of duty by the Finance Minister. What a thing to admit. For a Ghost you smart, smart, smart
