The United States says a military task force carried out a lethal strike on a vessel operating in the Eastern Pacific, killing three men suspected of narcotics smuggling.

According to a statement issued by U.S. Southern Command, Joint Task Force Southern Spear launched the operation on November 15 at the direction of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. The vessel was described as being operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization and traveling along a known narco-trafficking route in international waters.

Intelligence officials determined the craft was carrying narcotics at the time of the operation, SOUTHCOM said. The strike resulted in the deaths of three male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel.

The agency said the interdiction was part of continuing efforts to disrupt transnational criminal networks operating throughout the region.

  1. From south America, namely Columbia and Venezuela, to Haiti or Cuba, then to the US. That’s the drug route. So to sit there and say that the US have no evidence of drugs on these boats, is as naive as it gets.

One just have to look at the map and see how close Cuba and Haiti is to those two nations, and the fact that those two nations are neighbors, and you can easily draw the connection. The drugs are trafficked to the two most unstable islands in the Caribbean, who are also two of the closest to the US other than the Bahamas.

It’s not that hard to put two and two together.
A boat with 4 engines on it is just speeding in international waters just out on a joy ride.. 😂..yeah right..
I do not condone the killings, but you were warned, and for years that same drug route has just been left wide open for the drugs lords in South America to exploit.
Escobar became the richest man in the world at the time using that same drug route, so let’s not be stupid to think that these are just ” fishing boats” speeding through the wide open seas, miles and miles from any land mass.

The US is fighting fire with fire, because for years, nothing has been done. It won’t wipe drugs totally off the planet, but it sure will put a big dent in the drug trade. The same thing that’s happening at the border, where illegal passing is down by almost 50%.

So yes, I back this move.
The leaders in the Caribbean, especially small island states like Antigua, better spend some money and sure up their borders, because too much guns and drugs are in Antigua. So it’s a page I will follow for what the US is doing.

So make your stance Gatson, Maduro or Trump. 😂

  2. It is quite strange they never show any of the drugs on these vessels. The have the wherewithal to capture these vessels and board them and show proof of narcotics but the never do. Advantage will never done

  3. @islandman26 Evidence isrepresenting what’s on board and capturing the carrier not the Caribbean route they take which is the minority route. Also apparently you have more info than us since you seemly know the location of the boat and what direction they are heading.

I’ll be honest if literally all where drugs it wouldnt really dent their main income since there are many ways to traffic drugs with mules of many types and low risk if lost

  4. @Young Communist ..boy..you still believe that a big boat like that is fishing? You are so dumb try to defend something and trying to be “Political Correct”.
The evidence is just dam clear: 4 big engine boat speeding up in International waters alone….IS DRUGS business. Nothing else need to be provided..Just the dam.boat is the evidence.

  5. To all those who want evidence, zoom eeen pan the photo… What yall think all those packages are? Christmas presents? Ah wha de joke ya… Some of yall are so naive… As the judge in people’s court says, “there is none so blind as he who will not see”

  6. Strange, but all of these boats look the same. I guess they don’t think we would notice the fake videos that they are posting.

  7. So that’s the way they transfer drugs on the waters nowadays, no concealment, just plain in the open so everyone can see? While at the same time giving ideas to any helicopter, cruise ship, another drug boat, Pirates, the local man on shore or even just a regular fisherman to possibly make a move, also knowing fully well they may probably encounter the US Coast Guard who operates in these water 24/7 prior to this blowing up campaign by the same US. Man! I have to admit we do have some real dumb ass drug operators in our waters, if this photo is honestly correct.
You a custom to show us images with boats already completely blown up and the total number of occupants killed, now all of a sudden you decide to bring a close up image to the conversation.

  8. @carlos it’s not about believe it’s about everything in this process is wrong last time I checked we have a court system to prove a person did a crime then serve a sentence for that crime not just killing everyone which doesn’t work anyway people use to do that still didn’t work.

Even the 2 survivor of the strike they did on the submarine where not convicted in their counties due to the US not providing evidence of drug tracking. Also what makes it clear that 4 boats in international waters is trafficking drugs? Should I just take your word for it? What’s the source? Where is it goes? Where is it?

@Chubble talk zooming on a 360p black and white video/picture does not tell you anything about what the boat is carrying which is why boats are boarded taken picture of and taken away so you have high resolution evidence and physical

  9. @ young Antiguan communist, I will give you the benefit of the doubt that there’s no way in the world you’re this naive… Everyone is saying board the boats and get evidence etc. Do yall understand that they’ve been labeled terrorist? There are different rules of engagement after you receive that label. A point I believe everyone is missing.
