  1. Very very risky, moving the injured persons. Can cause more harm than good. Let the professionals move the injured persons, at all times… unless you are first aid trained. You should just speak to the injured person (keep them awake and alert at all time, and keep them calm) until emergency medical services arrive.

  2. Very disturbing news. My sympathy and condolences go out to the families and friends who must be heartbroken at this time.
    Note to self: If I can help it, I’m off the road by 7:00 p.m.! My home has all the action I need “after hours”. Too many speed-devils on our roads, especially after dark!

  3. Untrained persons moving victims can cause further injuries.
    At the same time, there is always the risk of fire.
    What should we do. Turn off engine, remove keys from ignition. Disconnect battery terminals.
    Only move victims if there is signs of a possible fire.
