Antigua and Barbuda PM Backs Morocco’s Sovereignty at MEDays Forum
Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Gaston Browne has voiced strong support for Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara, praising a recent U.N. Security Council resolution that reaffirms the Kingdom’s autonomy initiative.
Speaking at the MEDays Forum in Tangier, Browne called the resolution “a historic step” that strengthens Morocco’s “international legitimacy” and confirms the credibility of its plan for the territory.
Browne credited the leadership of King Mohammed VI for bolstering Morocco’s position, describing the monarch as “one of the most visionary leaders in the developing world.”
He said the Kingdom’s stability, diplomacy and development model have made it a “force of balance” in the region.
The Prime Minister said ties between Morocco and Antigua and Barbuda are rooted in mutual respect and support for sovereignty, noting that Morocco’s progress in Africa, renewable energy and agriculture offers valuable models for island nations.
He also praised the MEDays Forum as an important platform for geopolitical dialogue.
“The Security Council resolution confirms what many already knew,” Browne said. “Morocco represents stability, dialogue and development, and will continue to play a vital role in Africa, the Arab world and beyond.”

Barbuda has sovereignty over its lands as stated in the Constitution.
While running around talking about sovereignty of others stop undermining sovereignty at home.
What else you expect from this fraud.
Always a dance abroad, instead a yard!
Yes Gaston don’t respect the barbudans sovereignty over their lands, but some a these areas where the prime minister is coming out about Morocco sovereignty over Sahara desert, I wonder who they were in contention with, and wonder if the prime minister have properties in Morocco or that a white handler if his ask him to do that.
