VIDEO: PM says he has nothing but love and admiration for Sir Viv

2. Viv along with being a National Hero and first a citizen of the country and as such has a right to call for an Investigation. What is so difficult to understand about that. He didnt say the PM or the first Lady stole anything, he called for an independent investigation. What’s so wrong with that. I just cannot imagine the lack of humility of our PM. 40.0M disappeared and the country should just gloss over that including our only living National Hero. He answers to God and to the country that appointmented him as our hero!!! He is not Baba Browne/Hadeed whose government name you refuse to call. The lead conspirator!!!

3. Is he Bipolar, stupid or just naturally Crazy? He cannot be trusted. He says one thing now and in a fraction of a second, he says the opposite and that’s what makes him so dangerous for our country.

4. These comments are on point! He has no love for Sir. Viv. If he did he would not have made the first statements he did. Mr. PM, you cannot talk from both sides of your mouth. Sir. Viv, you have our loyalties and we agree with you fully that there SHOULD be an independent investigation. If we have learned anything it is that people who do not want investigations have a lot to hide.

   Sir Viv has being standing up for Black Peoples when Gaston Growne was still pissing in his pants with patches in the bottoms.
   Sir Viv stoop up against British CLASSISM which is still present today in Antigua, Barbuda & REDONDA, why you Gaston Browne think, that the gold which you’re bathing in now have transformed you into King Midas.

   Sports is one of the biggest weapons to defeat CLASSISM, RACISM etc., and many sporting legends from Mohammed Ali to Magic Johnson to Clive Lloyd and Sir Viv have always recognised and utilised the power which being a sport legend gives them to affect changes to the everyday status quo.

6. I have no doubt that the Honourable Prime Minister loves cricketing icon and our National Hero Sir Viv Richards. But he cannot on one hand proclaim his love for him and on the other hand just rip him apart as he did on his radio station. . Such attitude and behaviour was grossly unnecessary and belittled and shamed our National Hero in the worst possible way. I honestly believe that if the Honourable Prime Minister was displeased with Sir Viv in any way, the right and proper thing to have done was to request a private audience with him and thrash it out there. Humiliating Sir Viv in this manner on National radio was disgraceful.

7. Audley Phillip most times I agree with you however this time I cannot. From the day I remember Sir Viv endorsing Harold Lovell amd his brother Mervin, this pig has had nothing to say of respect about Sir Viv. I guess you would say Gaston love the people of Antigua and Barbuda so he treat them in a despicable manner and refers to them as squatters and embiciles.

8. I want Sir VIV to be the man Antigua has grown to love.
   I want him to do what made him great.
   Tell Gaston to take his love and go the the most westerly beach at sunset and drive it up his crevice.
   With love like Gaston’s one should live on a deserted island by himself.
   I dont think Sir Viv will have lost anything if he loses Gaston’s love.

14. The Prime Minister shouldn’t make them kind of talk about Viv. Majority of people in this country share the same opinion with Viv.

15. Gaston needs to stop the personal commenting on Viv in public. Viv is a national hero not only officially but in the hearts pf the people. You could have just said, ” I respectly disagree with Sir Viv on the vehicle matter, ” and leave it at that. You can then meet Viv privately and talk about the issue. But this is certainly going way to far; especially against a man that has fought for the dignity and rights of black people all over the world.

16. I am very disappointed in the method used by the head of state in Antigua and Barbuda 🇦🇬 PM Gaston Browne. As to how he try and address the problem between himself and our national hero, and world iconic super star Sir Vivian Richards. PM, did not only disgraced the country and the Caribbean, but the whole world. Sir Viv is a world class iconic personality who deserves, the PM respect. The PM is a disgrace to the country in this matter.
