PM Puts Port Manager on Notice
Prime Minister Gaston Browne has publicly warned Port Manager Darwin Telemaque that he will be fired if found allowing containers to leave the port without the required duties being paid.
Speaking on his weekly radio programme on Saturday, Browne said he has received reports of containers allegedly passing through customs without full payment. He stressed that while he has no evidence implicating Telemaque, any credible proof of wrongdoing would lead to immediate dismissal.
