The Prime Minister utterances are clear.
He has no respect for the public, and the tax payers.
He is confident of the outcome. Along the way he he will again paint it as an Opposition party as mistrift making to make his Government look bad.

I told the opposition so, not to jump on the popularity wave of this car scandal, it’s a narrative and tool of Gaston creation to whip some subordinates like ministers and civil servants into submission, and by the way the comptroller of customs would not have taken off gone anywhere without his years of service gratuity, it was worked out by the same minister of finance to send mr boodu on his way back to India with a hefty bank account.
This same movie had been played in Lester bird administration when he wanted control of his subordinates who was about to surpass him.

And by the way, it now confirm that Gaston and his wife is not doing any work, to sit in a ministry and don’t know of the volume of spending on cars until you see them physically is a farce, if that amount of monies pass Gaston unnoticed as finance minister ? he should be fired.
