  1. I agree with the views stated. That chain fence serve as-well as west bus station’s and the fish-market wall serve 0 purpose it’s a pedestrian zone. And the pedestrians and buses using the same entrance is hazardous

  2. What about the Syrians on Long Street – between Corn Alley and Thames Street? Are they classified as “vendors”? Is the pavement outside their respective properties classified as their personal space? To be fair, what about the vendors on Upper High Street. What’s good for the goose must be good for the gander!

    • Good point brought up businesses should not be allowed to block the pavement with products such as cool and smooth and treated as vendors

  3. Faithful National #1 – I am in agreement with everything you said. We should not have anyone selling on the sidewalks period. As soon as you show favoritism the door will be wide open again.
I must commend Mr. Turner for clearing up around the vegetable market and lower market street. I am not in any support of building any vendors booth. That will be only used as a storage facility and outside on to the sidewalks they come again. This compromise will be a step in the wrong direction. Politicians need to make the right decision and not the popular decision. Long term goals are far more important and in the longer run your legacy will be good.
