  2. Wow! Without a shadow of a doubt the ABLP are preparing themselves for a General Election. This amnesty is their icing on the election cake.

    This move is morally wrong in gerrymandering votes in swing constituencies. Look at what happened to the Honourable Harold Lovell when he was lost by a handful of votes.

    Furthermore, why would Browne and his enabling cohorts pursue this devious move unless an election was eminent. Also remember, this doesn’t normally happen on any other calendar dates.

  6. Let see the hypocrisy of Antiguans. Criticizing Trump for enforcing the law with ICE to get rid of illegals immigrants in USA. People marching because “Nobody is illegal in stolen land” and supporting illegal immigration because they deserve better opportunities.
    Isn’t Antigua an “Stolen Land” also discovered by Christopher Colombus? Spanish Empire was first, then French Empire, then British Empire. So they get rid of the original population here, then British start bringing slaves from Africa. So means we are not facing the same situation? We are not from here. We are From Africa or Europe. So this is a Stolen land also. Means NOBODY is illegal..Yes, Amnesty is fine then. If you are against it, then you are racists like Trump.

  8. @IMr Byam O Lord mercy, you can’t be so ignorant about your own story. Spanish Empire fail to settle in Antigua due lack of water resources. They started using the Natives (Caribs). English Empire settle in Antigua by 1632. No Black people was bring in first. Just pure Whites, then British started to bringing slaves. So no African and no Europeans are indigenous from America Continent. You are not indigenous from here, not me neither. Our Ancestor are traced back to Africa and Europe. Antigua was colonized and native population (Caribs) eradicated completely.
    Portuguese Empire was the first (and the Biggest slave trafficker) to Brazil. The first Arrival in English America was 1619 in Jamestown, Virginia, marking the start of enslaved labor from British colonizers in the Americas.
    Black people are not indigenous from America Continent. I think you never visited your own Museum in Market Street, not even your Own Library near East Bus Station. Is your history, just check it out.
