1. I can just imagine Prime Minister Gaston Browne enjoying all of this political mischief. He wanted to witness the arrest of the Honourable Jamal Pringle.

   This move by the Maria Bird-Browne led DCA was way, way over the top, and obviously sanctioned by her husband. The whole matter stinks!

   Gaston Browne’s behaviour in recent times is definitely straight out of the Trump playbook.

   Anyone who stands up to our PM is a target. Anyone who calls him out for more independent financial scrutiny on behalf of the country will also be vilified.

   This is a Browne character trait.

   Instead of political harmony, he seeks discord. Instead of unifying the citizens of this country, he promotes disunity.

   Anyone who’s worked in management, will understand that the “carrot and stick” approach no longer works in this day and age.

   Browne still believe that fear mongering like an overly strict father figure is the way forward. The man is not only cruel and vindictive, but also hopes that these underhand moves will keep him in power for ever and a day.

   The 40-odd years of the Bird-Browne dynasty must be voted out 🗳 at the next General Election.

3. Brix- what you are saying is basically true , however I differ with you on one statement. Fear mongering is working and taking a very serious toll on our democracy.
   The majority of Antiguans are afraid of victimization. Victimization is real and when one is victimized and the few that stand up will you cannot influence the outcome. Then it is working.Look local contractors and suppliers of goods and services go to the treasury week after week and leave empty handed. Yet they are afraid to speak out or even take action. Government has bankrupt lots of local businesses by owning them and refusing to pay. These people are suffering, their families are struggling, many die without getting their money from government. Yet just to keep hope alive they are afraid to speak out or take action.
   Mr.Ryan took action and spoke out and victimization played out on the public media. He is a wealthy, independent person and one of the few at that level that is not afraid of victimization.
   In the recent Vechicle gate scandal, the PM called out some of Antiguans wealthiest men. Not one of them even tried to do a little damage control for their businesses or personal legacy. They are afraid of victimization, even with all the wealthy they have accumulated. Lots more educational programs to teach people about their constitutional rights and obligations need to be taught. The opposition can even use social media to advance this mindset. The people who will rise up are the poor working class. However, the opposition cannot mobilize because of disunity.
   Look at how the politicians are using the ham and turkey as Christmas gifts. In a lot of countries in the world with the type of infrastructure we are dealing with, these people would be put to shame.
