Booby Alley Housing Model to Be Replicated in Gray’s Farm, Says PM
Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced that the successful Booby Alley housing project will be replicated in Gray’s Farm as part of the government’s push to improve living conditions in vulnerable communities.
Speaking on his radio programme, Browne, who grew up in Gray’s Farm, recalled the area’s long-standing issues with flooding and poor housing.
“I lived right at the mouth of the Big Gutter… muddy water used to come into our house,” he said, noting improvements made under his administration but acknowledging that much more is needed.
Browne described the project as a form of social empowerment and wealth redistribution. “This administration is one of the most caring in our history,” he said, adding, “We’re not going to stop here.”

Who are you redistributing wealth to when they still got to pay for it? The idea of wealth redistributing is about taxing wealthy people to give back to the lower income class. Sure it provides them a better home but it doesn’t lower the cost of anything
