  1. This is the most inspiring story I have ever heard. Jamilla, you are one in a million of genuine sharers.
Your story could have ended very differently and I feel obliged to admonish you to avail yourself of the most misunderstood gift of God: eternal live in Jesus Christ, if you have not already done so.
I call it a misunderstood gift because too many of us embrace religion without even understanding what really happened at Calvary over 2000 years ago. Calvary was transactional. Our lifetime of offenses against God was summarily placed on the Person of Christ and He, out of love for each of us, suffered the hell that we desrve and set us free from the condemnation of God for all eternity. Simultaneously, He clothed each of us in the righteousness that He exhibited throughout His life that constrained the Father to declare, “This is my beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.”
To everyone who believes, this status of eternal salvation is granted and we have God’s Word that we have been, are and will be forgiven of all of our sins. “If therefore the Son will make you free, you shall be free indeed.” Again, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.” Jamilla, when we understand and accept this truth, we are eternally secured in Christ. Bask in God’s love and love Him back by truly embracing His free gift of salvation. There is nothing else to live for in this cursed world. God bless and keep you. Your testimony will change many confused hearts.

  3. Inspiring indeed, your story brought tears to my eyes. You are so strong, and having so many people in your corner is very inspirational. And you know I am a thyroid patient and I am very lackadaisical, I don’t do checkups often enough, I don’t do my blood test and ultrasound when I am supposed to either. And for some reason early this morning I was reflecting and I told myself I must do better and I started listing in my mind all the healthy things I am going to do to beat this thing. I picked up my phone and was checking out the news as I do every morning I came across your story and I took this as a sign that I truly must do everything in my power with Jehovah God to deal with this thyroid issues. I have been so discouraged, depressed, overwhelmed and in so much pain, I hurt from head to toe and nobody around me understand the difficulties I fight through everyday. So I guess without real help I kind of gave up. But thank you for showing me I have to do better and try even if I have to do this alone. It’s horrible going through sickness without any positive help especially when you don’t have the money to do what’s necessary.
I thank you for inspiring me today I know this will help a lot of people. God bless you and your family and I am happy you are alright because I am a fan. Blessings blessings and more blessings.
