After reviewing this video, the Useless ,Pappyshow Protesters (UPP) must see the writing on the wall. After all the reckless rhetoric and frenzied calls to action, is this the best that they could muster??
Wow, this sweet bad!
I’m glad to see the fact that people actually showed up for the protest against any increase on vehicle licensing in general! Where has all the taxpayers monies gone for the past decade of this administrations? We need a DOGE (Department Of Government Expenditure) to give account for monies spent in all these statutory bodies who control and distribute services in our country! Where is the accountability?
The usual suspects (delusional UPP sycophants) showed up. The usual small turnout. What a surprise!
Antigua people are not foolie. Everyone is aware that the Prime Minister has committed to make adjustments after directly engaging with the people. Picketing a measure that is not finalized is yet another new height to UPP stupidity and was soundly rejected by an intelligent public.
If the new arrangement announced after Cabinet meets is unsatisfactory that would be another matter. It was utterly foolish for Hitler Isaac and Puppet Pringle to pretend there was no response to the people’s concerns in their desperate attempt to get some “noticement”.
Baldwin Spencer must be sick to his stomach watching the UPP flushing down the political toilet.
Who shot the video? Apparently the news portal is an ALP mouth piece. The camera was stuck at the least densely populated portion of the crowd to make it appear a failure. I really do feel sorry for those so called journalists. A few months agai one of Antigua’s richest men was buried. His hands were empty. His coffin was not filled with money. I hope that says something to those behind the publication of this portal. By the way, I get the feeling that ALP supporters will be exempt from the increase. Is that so? Or will they use vouchers to cushion the increase?
will it actually change anything? We’ll see.
I wonder if these protests will lead to real change or just more gridlock.
Chants like these make it hard to ignore the public’s frustration. The government has to listen.
The ‘No Increase’ chant really says it all. People are just asking for fairness.
Powerful voices in the crowd! It’s clear people are fed up with the hike.
Solidarity in action! I’m curious to see how this will impact the decision-makers.
