Traffic police are investigating a crash on Friars Hill Road after a car left the road and hit a tree near the ABS area.
The Suzuki Ignis suffered major front-end damage, but the driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was not injured and did not need medical treatment.
Police said early reports suggest the car veered off the roadway before the collision. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
It is the second crash in just over a month at the same location.
