Public concern over civic responsibility has resurfaced after a video circulating on social media prompted widespread criticism and renewed calls for accountability.
The footage, which shows behaviour described by viewers as irresponsible and disrespectful to the wider community, has drawn sharp reactions online. Many commentators have questioned what they see as a decline in civic pride, urging stronger enforcement of existing laws to deter similar actions.
Several members of the public have called on the authorities to identify those involved and apply appropriate penalties, arguing that visible consequences are necessary to uphold community standards.
Officials have not yet confirmed whether an investigation has been launched. However, the incident has reignited debate about personal responsibility, respect for public spaces and the role of enforcement in maintaining order.
Community advocates say restoring civic pride will require both public education and consistent application of the law.

Maybe Delmore is not the owner of the suitcase he probably borrowed it to travel and forgot to tear off the band before returning it…Just saying….
As the saying goes: “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”.
As many of you know, I’m no fan of the current Prime Minister, but I’ve read on many occasions his comments about keeping your areas and community clean and tidy. For once, I’m in total agreement with him.
You travel around the country and see on a daily basis strewn rubbish, garbage bins turned over with the contents all over the place (yes, dogs maybe, but to see it on the ground all day tells me that people living nearby don’t really care).
I always have a set of old gloves at the ready to clean up my area. But sometimes I think I’m the only resident doing so.
Those caught dumping should be heavily fined.
And don’t get me started on dumped vehicles…
