Fishing Vessel Destroyed in Fuel Accident at Shell Beach Marina
A fire at Shell Beach Marina on Tuesday afternoon left a fishing vessel completely destroyed and caused damage to two others. The fire reportedly started during a refueling operation.
The boat’s owner, who declined to be identified, recounted being aboard the vessel when the fire erupted. Despite efforts to contain the blaze, the flames quickly consumed the boat.
The fisherman expressed gratitude for surviving the incident, describing it as a near-death experience. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
