I am sick and tired of this. We need to go after this people robbing the country. Let’s form a special force to go after them. Who is with me?
Dem skunt need fu dead. Kill dem. This is disgusting now.
Sad on every level. It’s disgusting, pathetic, and hurtful to the core to have businesses face this level of torture is unacceptable beyond words.
There must be someone who can identify some piece of the clothing that this vermin is wearing, especially a family member.
That place is less that 5 minutes away from the Police station. How much longer are the police going to allow these things to happen before they treat these killers like killers?
Not one of those guys qualify for a license firearm? Can we please take licensing and permit of firearms seriously.
Do you know it looks like he is wearing a bullet proof vest also.
The manner in which he was holding the gun and so close to these guys without none attempting to take the weapon on the numerous times the criminal was distracted will make me inquire why.
Where are the outside cameras? He did not walk from vehicle to the store with masked on.
His body structure is still sufficient for a family member and friend to identify him. Please urgently contact your local police department with tips on who this body structure seems to belong to. If he is innocent, it cause nothing to you or the person you suspected. Urgently do so.
Antigua has been transformed into GANGSTERS PARADISE for several years now. Ever so often we keep hearing of robberies and shootings and the police can hardly manage. Just imagine what it’s going to be like when the deportees get here. The people must stop this from happening. We got to throw Jonah overboard
These people have been robbed several times. They work very hard for their livelihood… the police station is a stone’s throw away.
Where are the police when you need them?? Regular police patrol is needed.. is it that the police are afraid if these gangsters?
What are we saying to our regular tourist looking on? Sheezz man!! Little Antigua & Barbuda!!
All them syrian man just take that so?. Them man have a business and should have a business license. Dont kniw which country worle boss and cutie live in when they keep saying crime on the low
To all business owners in Antigua and Barbuda. It is time for all of you to get gun licenses, like yesterday. To defend yourselves, families, employees and properties.I guarantee you,if the owner of that place was on duty and had a gun this could have been different.Go and apply for your licenses to carry, fast.
What happened to the customers, ?
They obviously left, as this gun man didn’t study them at all…??? …911 is a free call….?
LOOK? I DONT WANT TO STEREOTYPE HERE, BUT THEM YOUNG NIGGAS SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN THIS. THE SYRIANS SPARED YOUR LIFE CAUSE IF YOU DIDNT KNOW, MANY PEOPLE FROM THAT SIDE OF THE WORLD DIE IN THE GAZA EVERY WEEK. MEANING IF YOU WANT A WAR, YOU WILL GET A WAR!!
So. Is it that we are blaming the police now.
Boy. Oh boy. There job is hard.
Tomorrow when the police corner them and unalive them, we here all kinds of nonsense about they were innocent and they were unarmed and they were surrendering.
People, People, the police usually know who these guys are. They may not know which ones commit which crimes, they may not be able to prove who did the crime but they know who all these criminals are. So when they strike the hammer while the iron is hot. I am ok with it.
I was a target for years in my home! , even while I slept, I believe it was because of my location , my house was the last house in that area . long story short our suspect took off to St Martin before the police could catch him after he was caught in another act , he was a terror in the village We got the news that he was kill in St Martin some time after. These young men I belive are demonize. . All unfair games have to play again. Moon run until day catch um !!! Your time is coming, it’s about time!!!!

This is extremely troubling and frightening for the staff who had to experience this. No one should go to work unsure if they’ll make it home safely, especially in a place meant to serve food and bring people together. I hope the employees are getting the support they need and that the police are able to act swiftly.
What makes this even more alarming is how bold these crimes are becoming. Walking into a busy restaurant with a firearm shows a complete disregard for human life. Something has to change because business owners and workers are under constant stress.
As a customer, this makes you think twice about stopping anywhere late at night. Safety shouldn’t be a luxury. Business owners, workers, and patrons all deserve better protection.
It also happened last Tuesday in front of the Bar de Barulo. They took more than 20k.
Ohhhh la, la he trouble the wrong one.
Sorry for him
I hate a thief with a passion. I wish one of them had a gun to turn on him. I remain hopeful that wicked person will get whats coming to them
They start with their nonesense again?
Look at how Antigua come. What a mess. We will hear they find someone dead somewhere and found out it was that guy who embarrassed and robbed them syrians
Antigua is simply reaping what was sown generations ago. The whole island is a cesspool of crime and corruption. It’s not just the criminals, every level of society here is broken and irreparable. The culture here glorifies and encourages criminal and antisocial behaviour. So it’s not surprise the young are so lost. .but feel free to have another prayer day as. Invoke geezus name for another day of prayer. Keep blaming everything else but your broken selves.
The guns are turning on the suppliers.
An old dog will turn on its master after been trained and is now been starved to feed its pups because it has become to old and of no more purpose.
What goes around in the underworld catches up to your deeds and actions catches up to you.
The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crimes.
This would have been captured along the roadways before they mask up, and the escape vehicles.
The police should do profiling if everyone in Antigua Barbuda wearing hoodies regardless to their sex age or color, this is what just happen in the American system and then it is touted as racial discrimination, tell me why a hot country like ours with no snow have young men and woman covered in long sleeve hoodie and sometime ski mask? Police should stop them and search them and photograph them, just drive by in the police vehicle and photograph them, you will end up matching the similarities of these robbers with photos along with interaction from the search and profiling, and it doesn’t matter what lawyers say about it. And the law shall not tip toe around Caucasian or affluent people.
What is disheartening is that two years ago when the two teenage girls were brutally murdered and the gang violence was almost out of control in the country. Our beloved prime Minister thought thatcthe solution to the problem was a football match between the rival gangs and the purchase of a marine gun boat, to combat the ever increasing violence on land. The money spent on the vessel you could have gotten about 2 to 3 maybe 4 heavily armored vehicles to patrol the streets mostly at nights when these robberies seems to be taking place. Back in the late 70’s when the police had a big truck named KONG . Just the mere thought of the name being mentioned that it was on its way would send people scamperrin. These armored vehicles patrolling the street would certainly have the same effect. Food For Thought
@DJude Engaging with at-risk young people is actually a great strategy, but it should be an ongoing effort not a one time thing. The whole adult society should create ongoing mentorship opportunities for such youth – apprenticeships, support to start small businesses etc. There should be a permanent organisation dedicated to this task and adults, business owners and others constantly volunteering. If the young people feel like a cared-for and thought of part of the society with persons helping them find the right path to success, they might be less inclined to engage in such antisocial behaviour.
Once upon a time people could roam late at night in Antigua, visiting businesses, enjoying the city etc. without worrying about crime and violence. Unfortunately, some of these modern young men have thrown away that beautiful society we once shared in exchange for some pocket change to buy namebrand clothes, fancy phones and whatever other silly gadgets the world has convinced them will make them feel more important. Trust me, living humbly but peacefully in a safe country is far better than any material possession or a life spent on the run. Young men would be wise to help maintain the peace rather than disturb it.
