Antigua and Barbuda’s reigning calypso monarch, Queen Ge’eve, has arrived in Montserrat ahead of the Queen of Queens Regional Calypso Competition, scheduled to take place on 30 December 2025.

The highly anticipated event will bring together leading female calypsonians from across the region, as they compete for the prestigious Queen of Queens title.

Queen Ge’eve, who earned her national crown in Antigua, is expected to represent her country with a strong musical performance, as anticipation builds among calypso fans on the island.

Organisers say the competition will highlight the diversity and strength of women in calypso, while celebrating Caribbean culture and musical excellence.

The show is set to begin at 8:00pm, with patrons encouraged to arrive early for what promoters describe as one of the season’s major cultural events.

The Queen of Queens competition forms part of Montserrat’s year-end cultural calendar and is expected to draw a large audience of residents and visitors alike.
