The government of Antigua and Barbuda has announced that the results of a nationwide audit of all state vehicles will be made public once the review concludes.
Maurice Merchant, communications director for the Prime Minister’s Office, said the process underlines the administration’s commitment to accountability and the proper management of public assets.
The audit follows reports of irregular vehicle purchases in multiple departments, which have sparked public concern and led to the reassignment or resignation of some senior officials.
Officials say the investigation covers all government vehicles, scrutinising procurement practices, registration documents, usage records, and maintenance logs to verify compliance with rules.

This “vehicle audit” could expose more than they expect. Let’s see if they’re brave enough to release everything or if it’ll just be a watered-down summary.
I hate when public servants abuse the government system. But that’s the way it is
