  1. I must say I am quite pleased to see the commissioner of police interacting with the public about this situation and in such a down to earth way. You could hear the sadness in his voice and you could also tell that this hit home for him. He could sympathize better with the person involved because he’s familiar with the community and the person’s living in those communities, which makes for more compassion and a stronger determination to get answers to and bring perpetrators to justice. This is very different from a previous commissioner and it’s a welcome change. Let’s hope that it stays that way so he can positively impact the other members of the police force.

  2. These people need to be thoroughly investigated. Which banks do they have accounts, What social media platform do they used, cellphone logs, web browser history ,ip addresses, travel logs, ect. Where ever they live, the whole yard needs to be dig up.Can we depend on the police to do this for us? Because this ya nah end so.

  3. Dear Mr GG.
We beg of you just this one time,
Please grant we the people of Antigua and Barbuda the OK for Vigilante Justice.
No guns allowed just razor blades and nail clips.
We are mothers, Aunts, Fathers Uncles and our heart bleed for this cruelty meted out to 9 year old Chantel.
A nation is weeping and no amount of jail time can suffice.
We as a nation let’s continue to keep the family in prayers.

  4. Who the retarded woman who shout out that that’s not our law that a American law? She seriously dunce.
Let the police do wah dem a do. Everybody vex. I think the acting commissioner is also a pastor so he understand compassion. Proud of him so far.
Let the thing play put it supposed to people. They better put them in solitary confinement.

  6. The Law sometimes gets in the way of Justice…
The investigation continues….there got to be more in the mortar than what’s on the pistel. Justice will not be served until the root is dug up and burned.

  7. A welcome move on the part of the Acting Commissioner.

Safety and feeling safe is not about political parties, except when the political party who can bring about change for a safety environment plays lip service.

This is not very difficult from two young ladies who were murdered months ago.

A whole lot of people had much to say; and when it blew over, everyone went back to their routine.

Will the death of Chantal bring about change?
Will we have safety programs in schools and throughout communities where young people like Chantal learn how to be cautious and how to protect themselves?
That is one aspect of “COMMUNITY POLICING”
When will the politicians stop make false promises?
When will the electorate make them accountable?
