A motor vehicle collided with a group of recruits and staff members near the former Us Air Station at around 05:30 this morning (25th March 2025). The group was conducting physical training at the time.
Emergency services arrived at the scene by 05:50, and the injured, who sustained head, neck, back, shoulder, and foot injuries, were transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
Authorities are gathering statements from witnesses and those involved. The ABDF thanked law enforcement and emergency services for their swift response and professionalism, as well as the public for their support.

Camouflage clothing worn by the military that dark early morning on the asphalt road is impossible to see, people often times dress in dark clothing at night as pedestrian stupidly or inadvertently walking on the asphalt road at night and becoming fatally injured. Radio education need to be done that can save lives.
