Airport officials have confirmed that VC Bird International Airport is reopened after closing for several hours today.
The facility was reopened after an extensive clean up to remove toxic fumes.
The airport closed after fumes from a fumigation exercise at the old terminal got into the control tower.
Flights were diverted to St. Kitts.
People going to the airport were prevented from doing so and were told that the facility is closed.
The closure resulted in dozens of passengers being delayed.
