Temporary Job Vacancy
The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) is seeking persons to fill temporary positions within the Registration Units, for a period of six (6) months. This will form part of its Voter’s ID Card Replacement Programme, which will begin in August.
JOB PROFILE:
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Elections, temporary staff will work under the direct supervision of the Registration Officer for the Constituency in order to facilitate the registration of qualified applicants for the electoral register and the replacement of Voter ID Cards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects at the General Level, MUST include Math & English
- Computer literate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Works well in a team environment – as job requires significant interaction with internal and external customers
Suitable applicants, will undergo a period of training and must pass the Commission’s examination to be considered for employment. The successful applicant will be required to take an oath or affirmation to perform faithfully the duties imposed under the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act 2001.

I wonder if including maths and English is a style or follow fashion. You ask for maths and most times you do not even have to add 1 plus 1 to make 2 on the job. Stop stressing the young people with Allu must include maths and English.
