V.C. Bird International Airport has partnered with the United Taxi Cooperative (UTC) to enhance customer service standards among its members.

Over the past few days, the airport’s Customer Service Manager, Jan Walker-Brown, has been leading a series of training sessions aimed at improving how taxi operators engage with both visitors and residents.

According to airport officials, the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the overall travel experience at Antigua and Barbuda’s main gateway.

“The airport is excited to see the positive impact the exercise will have on visitors and locals alike,” a statement read, noting that taxi operators play a vital role as some of the first points of contact for arriving passengers.

The United Taxi Cooperative welcomed the opportunity to collaborate, describing the sessions as an important step toward maintaining high service standards in the tourism and transportation sectors.

The training forms part of a broader push by V.C. Bird International Airport to ensure excellence in customer interactions across all areas of its operations.
