V.C. Bird International Airport will resume its homeporting operations for the cruise sector on Saturday, marking the start of a busy travel weekend for the island’s main gateway.
The return of homeporting means increased coordination between air and sea arrivals, as passengers fly into Antigua to board cruise ships departing from St John’s Harbour.
Airport officials are urging travellers to use the Arrive Antigua online portal to avoid delays during check-in and to plan ahead for heavier traffic around the terminal.
The airport said it is working closely with tourism and transport partners to ensure a “smooth and stress-free experience” for all passengers.
