
UWI Five Islands to Host Public Lecture on Digital Privacy
The University of the West Indies (UWI) Five Islands Campus will host a public lecture examining the growing importance of digital privacy as online activity increasingly shapes daily life.
The lecture, titled “The Ins and Outs of Digital Privacy,” will be delivered by Professor Rajendra K. Raj and is scheduled for February 5, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the UWI Five Islands Campus Cafeteria.
Organised by the School of Science, Computing and Artificial Intelligence, the event will explore how personal data is collected, shared and used in the digital space, as well as the extent to which individuals can protect their privacy online.

The lecture is open to students, professionals and members of the public who regularly engage with digital platforms and online services.
