Specialists from the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine campus, will visit Antigua to help improve the durability and sustainability of flat concrete roofs.
They will collaborate with the National Housing and Urban Renewal Company and the Ministry of Housing, Works, Lands, and Urban Renewal, consulting on a new roof sealant product developed by UWI.
Minister Maria Browne, who invited the team, emphasized the importance of this initiative for enhancing Antigua’s construction industry.
The sealant promises a more durable and cost-effective solution, aligning with the nation’s commitment to sustainable practices and improved housing infrastructure.
