The Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross has issued an urgent appeal for blood donors to assist Edith Okadele Tomlinson, who is in need of immediate transfusions.
In a public notice, the organisation said donations of any blood type are urgently required.
Members of the public who are eligible to donate are being asked to visit the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) Blood Bank between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The Red Cross said timely donations could be critical and urged donors to come forward as soon as possible.
Anyone seeking further information on how to donate is advised to contact the SLBMC Blood Bank or the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross.
