(PRESS RELEASE)
The United Progressive Party’s campaign continues this weekend with a major political rally to be held on Sunday Evening at the Potter’s Playing field. The theme of the event will be “Everybody must nyam …Our Jobs Agenda and Security Plan”!
Political Leader of the party, Harold Lovell will expand the UPP’s innovative policy, aimed at getting the youth of Antigua and Barbuda into the workforce. The issue of unemployment has been exacerbated by the ruling Antigua Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), whose promise to provide 10,000 + jobs to the youth of this country, has failed miserably.
New developments surrounding the worsening crime situation in the country,  and the current government’s continued inept treatment of the safety and security of residents, requires immediate attention. The UPP will also present its security agenda which includes, but is not limited to, the reactivation of the joint police and military patrols from 6 pm to 6 am, as well as an immediate repeal of ABST on all security devices.
Attendees to Sunday’s Rally will also hear from UPP candidates George Whenner (St. George’s), Wilmoth Daniel (St. John’s City West) and Mac Emanuel (St. John’s Rural North) among others.
Sunday’s Rally which marks the 10-day countdown to the elections will commence at 6 pm.

  1. Gaston bring your pen and paper. Come and take notes. Come and see what ideas you want to steal from Lovell. You are a failure. YOU FLAP

  2. School call in. I will be there to join the big blue wave. UPP has been doing their homework. Right Track. Right Direction.

  3. Just returned from another massive/ mammoth UPP Rally in Potters. WOW- LOOK AT PEOPLE. Thank you , Jesus.

  4. Strange that from 2004 to 2014 they never thought the everybody musty Nyam. it was all victimization of labour party people. Mr. Baptiste openly declared that he will not work with any Labour Party people in his ministry. As he used to say “All them Bird People must go”. And the first action was to fire 90 security workers from the Port. And of course. Mr. Benjamin from APUA was fired and never paid a cent. And many more. And young people whom they suspected that their parents were Labour Party supporters could get a government job under their administration. It was only UPP people must Nyam. I guess they want to fool us by letting us believe they have changed. But sorry we will not be fooled again. Not this time.
