4. Pringle is a candidate for leader. He should be totally away from the process. Not even making statements to the press about the process.
   Pearl is a plant to split the Lewis votes. The leadership make rules about the process and they are ones breaking the rule and blaming Lewis, just like the last time. The army man and Giselle little poodle she put in as vice chairman going to the branches and telling them who they must vote for. According to their rules, that cannot be done.
   Everybody knows that Isaac want Pringle to win. The secretary doing whatever Lovell is doing. He is playing like he’s sitting on the fence. Balwin say how he support Lewis. Any body in the public hear him say so out loud? He’s too dangerous. Don’t mention the Chaku. All of them very dangerous.
   They are already stacking the decks against Lewis and if he doesn’t fight back, it will be the same thing all over again.
   Wonder if the 3 questions woman will be back to stuff the bag with the ballots.

5. Without a shadow of a doubt the most important leadership convention in the history of the UPP.

   I’m excited, but with some trepidation, due to the fact that the next leader will have to lead Antigua & Barbuda out of the economic suffering and wilderness caused after this woeful ABLP government.

   The Honourable Members of the UPP definitely have the talent, after purging themselves of the deserters who preferred Gaston’s 30 pieces of silver.

6. This is so sad for our country which desperately needs a strong second party. Everyone knows that Richard Lewis is the person with the intellect, experience and commitment. He is also very articulate and Giselle does not need to write his script. But due to the ambitions and power hungry nature of others, he has already lost. The powers that be in the UPP have already stacked the pack against poor Richard, again. Maybe like so many others who have left the UPP totally broken hearted and disheartened, he will finally learn his lesson and move on or over.

   • Mr. Otto, this is not the ALP. All UPP members have a right to run for leadership and make their case. I think you’re too harsh on Pringle. He is not “power hungry”. He didn’t ask to be leader of the opposition; he had it thrust upon him. He did well, but it’s time for the UPP to get ready for government.

7. A leader needs to be a pitbull with sharp teeth ..Go in parliament and fight ” for the people ” you can’t be soft , your bark should be followed by a vicious bite ! Challenge the government, ask the difficult questions on behalf of the people and don’t back down until you get answers..stand behind the law and when they break it ask the court to speak .. All this talking ,talking in public them when in parliament yall quiet as a hoe in church !

8. I would like to say: “I have no dog in this fight” But, I do for the leadership of the opposition will be a determining factor of what the future of Antigua and Barbuda looks like.
